Fort Caroline, By Ed Winn
This book is about the very short life of Fort Caroline. As the author puts it:
"This story is about an incredible attempt by the French to build a fort just a few miles north of the Spanish St. Augustine. The destruction of the fort, which lasted only about a year, was inevitable. Fort Caroline suffered a tragic end with the deaths of most all the Frenchmen when they were attacked by the Spanish Governor Menendez."
The appendices include the time lines of the expeditions of Ribault (!st & 2nd expeditions), DeGourgues, and Laudonnniere. This book is 13 pages long.

Ponce De Leon and His Descovery of Florida in the Year 1513, By Ed Winn
This book is a short biography, beginning with Ponce De Leon's birth probably between 1460 and 1474, and continuing through his life and accomplishments until his death in around 1521 at an age between 47 or 60. The compelling parts of the story are the the successes, Like "discovering" Florida, and the incredible failures demonstrated by his attempt to build a settlement next to King Carlos. This is a facinating read. This book is 8 pages long. By Ed Winn, Printed by Winn's Books
